Thuc Minh La, D.D.S.
Dr. Thuc La was born in Vinh Long, Vietnam. As a teenager, he immigrated to Houston in 1979 with his family to escape the communist regime and start a new life. After many years of working in the family restaurant business, Dr. La graduated from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in 1997 and opened La Dental II in 2000. Dr. La is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Houston Asian Dental Society. When not helping patients, Dr. La is an avid triathlon athlete, having completed two full Iron Man Triathlons. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Elizabeth, and their daughters Tammy, Tara, and Trisha.
Thien (Thomas) La, D.D.S.
Dr. Thomas La was born and raised in Houston, TX. His interest in dentistry started at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. In 2017, he graduated from NYU College of Dentistry and moved back home to practice dentistry alongside his uncle Thuc and his wife Sarah. Dr. Thien is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Houston Asian Dental Society. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his wife and their three children. He also enjoys photography, cooking, running, and going to the gym.
My Dinh, D.D.S.
Dr. My Dinh was born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, and moved to Houston in 1993. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology before attending the University of Texas Dental School in Houston, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2003. Outside the office, Dr. Dinh enjoys spending quality time with her family. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, and hiking in national parks.
Amit Amin, D.D.S. (Periodontist)
Dr. Amit Amin was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UNC-Chapel Hill, he moved to New York City to attend New York University, where he completed both dental school and his Periodontics residency. During his time at NYU, he participated in the Honors Periodontics program and received the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics. Following residency, Dr. Amin successfully managed an office with a leading periodontal group in North Jersey for several years before relocating to Houston, TX.
Dr. Amin specializes in a range of advanced periodontal and implant services, including LANAP (laser-assisted periodontal treatment), Pinhole Surgical Technique, guided implant placement, PRF/PRP (Platelet Rich Fibrin and Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy, as well as ridge and sinus augmentation. He also performs various soft tissue grafting techniques and is dedicated to providing comprehensive periodontal care.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Amin serves as a Captain in the Army Reserves with the 455th Dental Company. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and dog, stays active through marathon running, and has a passion for international travel and exploring new cultures.
Michele Truong, D.D.S.
Dr. Michele Truong is a proud Houston native and passionate dentist committed to helping patients feel confident and at ease with their smiles. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Dentistry and is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA). Outside the office, Dr. Truong loves exploring the world, indulging her passion for food as an avid traveler and foodie, and spending time with her cherished family dog, Lulu.
Kieu Trang, D.D.S.
Dr. Kieu Trang earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Southern California in 2000. She is dedicated to creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient, using the latest technologies and techniques to ensure optimal oral health.
Passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles, Dr. Trang emphasizes the importance of preventative care in long-term dental health. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Sarah Jung, D.D.S.
Dr. Sarah Jung graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2017 and moved to Houston to practice dentistry alongside her husband Dr. Thien La. She received her bachelor’s of science degree from UCLA and is current in her continuing education.
